Penn State student organizations and units at campuses across the commonwealth will offer events in honor of National Women’s History Month in March. The theme this year is "Women Who Advocate for Equity, Diversity and Inclusion."

The last week of February 2024 still offers a few events across campuses for Black History Month, including at Penn State Brandywine, Harrisburg, Dickinson Law, Lehigh Valley, Shenango, and York. In addition, several exhibits are still available to visitors at Penn State University Park, Brandywine and Harrisburg.

Events at Penn State campuses are celebrating Martin Luther King Jr. Day all through this week and throughout January.

Penn State Altoona’s Division of Student Affairs is collecting boxes of cereal for the St. Vincent DePaul Assumption Chapel Food Pantry in Altoona from Oct. 30 through Dec. 6.

Recently tenured and promoted Penn State faculty across the University were honored Oct. 2 through Penn State’s Promotion and Tenure Recognition Program, now in its 21st year, during a private event held in the Paterno Family Humanities Reading Room on the second floor of Pattee Library at the University Park campus.

Students can come with a group of friends or by themselves for some creative artmaking to help calm stress, practice mindfulness, or just have fun.

Penn State Altoona has announced a full lineup of events, including lectures and discussions, for the campus' 2023-24 Common Read book, “Transcendent Kingdom” by Yaa Gyasi.

Douglass Day, held annually on Feb. 14, marks the birth of Frederick Douglass by creating Black history together.

The 23rd annual African American Read-In at Penn State Altoona will take place Feb. 19-20. This year’s theme is "Banned Black American Books."

"Cooking Classic" is a popular series of hourlong webinars that brings together University alumni for an evening of fun and culinary instruction featuring no-oven-needed recipes using various cooking devices.
