University Police
Penn State Altoona is patrolled by our University Police officers around the clock, 365 days a year. They are responsible for the protection of and service to our students, faculty, and staff. University Police officers are also charged with enforcing both the laws of the Commonwealth and University regulations. They have full law enforcement authority on our campus.
University Police have a close working relationship with area law enforcement, including support agreements with Logan Township Police and the City of Altoona Police.
