Penn State Altoona offers opportunities for students to pursue graduate degrees through Integrated Undergraduate-Graduate (IUG) programs and accelerated placement programs. These programs combine a bachelor's degree with an advanced degree as a continuous program of study. These programs let most students:

  • complete a master's degree in a shortened time period compared to completing the degrees sequentially,
  • have earlier interactions with the rigors of graduate education and begin building connections with graduate faculty, and
  • network with graduate students with similar career interests.
